How to search your name online in Voter List - Haryana - Search name by SMS

Previously it was a long process to search name in the voter list. As first we were requesting the Voter List from our BLO and then searching our name in the Voter List .

But now a days these processes are going very easy as the election commission of India had created the different websites for every state and given the features like - applying online Voter Card, Searching the status of Voter card online, Checking the name in the Voter List online..

Below are the steps for checking your name in the voter list if you belongs to Haryana -

1. Visit the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Hariyana website - http://ceoharyana.nic.in/.

2. Click on the link "Check your name in Voter List" available in middle of the website.

3. Now two options will be displayed -

Search by Voter Details & Search by Voter ID

Go through the option according to your choice like- go through the option 2 if you have your Voter ID Card else go through option 1. Here I am going through the option 1.

4. Now select your district, enter your name & relation name (father or husband name).

optionally you can select your assembly constituency & gender to get more relevant result.

Click on "Search" button to get the result.

5. Now result will be displayed that will contain the Booth Number, Serial Number,Voter Name, Father Name,Age, Sex,House Number & ID card number.

Check your name in Voter List by SMS

You can also check your name in Voter List in Haryana by sending a simple SMS to the number 9215156503.

Type VOTEHRY in SMS and send to the number 9215156503 for getting the information about your name in Voter List.
