How to get or generate the MMID and OTP of Andhra Bank through the SMS

As we know that nowadays almost all of the Banks in India had started the Mobile to Mobile Money Transfer through the IMPS.

For using this IMPS service or we can say doing any Mobile transaction whether this is Mobile to Mobile Money transfer or any other transactions through mobile like- IRCTC ticket bookings etc. We require MMID and OTP for this service.

Andhra Bank provides an easy way for their customers in getting the MMID and OTP . Just customer needs to send a simple SMS with their registered Mobile. Below are the formats of the SMS for getting the MMID and OTP for Andhra Bank customers using the SMS service -

Steps for getting MMID of Andhra Bank through SMS

Send an SMS to the number 9223173924 by typing the keyword MMID.

Customers can also generate the MMID by login into the Andhra Bank Mobile application.

Steps for getting OTP of Andhra Bank through SMS

Send an SMS to the number 9223173924 by typing the keyword MMID.

Customers can also generate the OTP by login into the Andhra Bank Mobile application.

OTP is valid for 1 hour ( only for a single transaction success or failure).

Note:- OTP generated through the SMS had the transaction limit of 5,000 while OTP generated through the Mobile Bnaking Application had the transaction limit of 50,000.

  3. above information does not work for international number which is registered with banking. I waited for days to get an OTP ..SMS
