How to open PPF or Public Provident Fund Account in SBI or State Bank of India
PFF stands for the Public Provident Fund.
Any citizen can open a PPF account in SBI (State Bank of India ).
For opening PPF accounts with SBI, Please Visit the nearest SBI branch and take the PPF account form.
The following documents are required for opening the PPF account in SBI -
1. 2 passport size photographs.
2. Proof of Identity (self attested copy of any one of following)
Passport/Voter ID/ PAN Card/ DL
3. Proof of Residence (self attested copy of any one of following)-
Credit Card Statement/ITR/Electricity Bill/Telephone bill/ Bank Statement /Ration Card
4. Signature of 2 witnesses (not necessary having an SBI account) to form.
Note :- Also need to show the original documents at the time of submitting the form.
